@kittylyst I don't have any personal connections to AMS (I just use their fireball website a lot). So, I don't know. Presumably they would have asked on their "we're broken" page?

@sundogplanets @kittylyst AMS is likely still determining the scope of the damage and what will need to happen to recover and rebuild.

I read earlier this year about a scenario where a site that tracked boxoffice data for decades was essentially scraped to death by bots *and* hacked, and it quickly became apparent that getting the legacy code/data to a safe status and compatible with the new infrastructure was going to be an immense task.

...seeing it this way resolves the apparent chaos of his behavior: his desire to be liked, his desire to rape people, his desire to conquer, even his cowardice and lack of follow through is classic bully dominance behavior (he's also very lazy lol)

But this also underlines why centrist appeasement simply fuels the fire: it's not their policies they want implemented - it's *the appeasement*, stupid. That's what they want!

They want people to bow down and do what they say.

What signals dominance more than forcing people into a constant state of cognitive dissonance by contradicting their furiously stated beliefs with their own behavior?
