A seasonal reminder that Aotearoa has the highest death rate for melanoma in the world 😭
I’ve had a chunk removed from my arm because of melanoma, but worse are the people I know who’ve died young of this disease.

@kevinrns Yes, it’s scary stuff! Our elliptical orbit of the sun is actually a factor - during the southern hemisphere summer we are closer to the sun than the northern hemisphere is during its summer 🤷🏻♀️
