On one hand, everything in one box appeals, because it's one box to maintain. On another, as it's been pointed out to me, when you put all the other boxes together, there's a chance you'll understand them, and be able to debug when they explode, also it will be only one piece that does so (possibly). Here, it's everything in one box, so more to understand about that one box, and if it blows up...
Also, one of few able to use object storage directly.
