Funny, I just did the same thing today! About once a month, I cut loose every account that’s had no activity for a year. I love how with Mastodon I try to keep my followers and followings pared down, not puffed up!

@superball That’s a good idea!
Yeah I’m wanting to pare down too. I’m a bit anxious about unintentionally sending people an “I reject you” vibe. I’m sure I care more about it than I should or is normal, as per ~47 other things in life. :)
@hollie It can feel like a balancing act, but I think checking for a long period of inactivity is pretty safe.
@superball I do this regularly 😊, I don't want bloated follower/follows list, I just want it to be small and relevant and preferably relational ☺️
