@killyourfm
At this point, even CDs are retro.
@killyourfm @potatosandwichjen I’m fully onboard with rebuilding my physical media collection. It’s going well and I live very second of it.
@killyourfm I don’t go as far as buying tapes, but owning and sorting my music already changed my relationship to it.
One of the most notable changes: I listen to whole albums. An artist is more than a single fashionable song.
You can still own music
@killyourfm I found the last Walkman I bought myself when I was 16. Need to dig out some cassettes for it. I’ve also now got a home cd player and I’ve resurrected my mp3 player.
They’re all great, and the music doesn’t stop when you lose mobile connectivity
@killyourfm I started to collect music CDs this Autumn and movies on Blu-rays 😄 Slowly building my physical media collection. When it comes to video games I try to buy DRM free on GOG whenever possible. Also I cannot imagine using services like Audible to buy audiobooks that I actually cannot backup.
@christopher Yea, especially considering how much the average audiobook costs!
@killyourfm I have been very much enjoying having vinyls and CDs. Same with physical media for games, shows, and movies. I feel more connected to the media when I consume it
@zeebok YUP. That tangibility is everything.
@killyourfm Completely onboard with this idea… But I have to be honest, cassettes are the absolute last type of media I would choose to own. But a lot of people think I’m nuts for going to vinyl.
But in the end we all should go back to owning things and not renting them!
@killyourfm my wife bought me a tape player few days ago
@sharan OH AWESOME! Is it a portable one? Are you enjoying it?

@sharan Thanks for the reminder to follow you guys on Bandcamp!
@sharan Holy shit, you guys are awesome! (Just blasted Brzi i grozni and I think my heartrate doubled. KILLER guitar solo on that track)
Regarding Bruddi Luddi: this is basically the punk rock version of Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti." If you haven't heard of it, you'll find your choruses very similar.
I have to buy this.
@killyourfm bruddi luddi is tutti frutti, in mc5 manner who also covered it. I am a huge fan of little Richard and Detroit proto punk.
I'll need to translate the lyrics then... Thank you!
@killyourfm thank you for the follow. We're already working on a new stuff. Two new shorter releases one ep and one Split lp , and then back to third album.
