@mntmn how does it compare to xpra?
@mntmn nice. I like it. However, it is a little unfair. Oldstyle X11 was designed for low bandwidth connections and worked well until extensions were added to transport images and OpenGL renderings. Then X11 sucked.
I could easily use Xpaint as pixel editor via the Internet in the late 1990s over 60 km distance and many hops. However, this was never possible when using Gimp in later years.
Anyway, good to have a solution with Wayland. I love it.
@mntmn Can it work with a whole desktop, like how Windows RDP works? I'm still using Xorgrdp for remote sessions, so I have both plasma-x11 and regular plasma
@mntmn Waypipe is such a cool tool. I use it to forward windows from a VM to my host and it's genuinely indistinguishable from a native app ...
