I guess I need to learn Chinese. Because I end up in Chinese restaurants and want things off the Chinese menu but can't read it (and translate apps fail at Chinese 馃槶).
Sent from the only Chinese place in Punta Arenas where I ordered by pointing at at image of the meal on google that someone posted 馃槄

I think that's why so many Chinese restaurants have illustrated menus!
@dancingtreefrog not the less westernized Chinese places I've experienced - most of those just come with two menus 馃槥
@vicgrinberg if you are bold, just point at one cheap, one medium priced and one expensive dish on the menu ;-)
@Cookiemonster it's a way, but I also have clear preferences (I will eat almost anything but I also love Sichuan Chinese) so I'd actually prefer to know what I order 馃槄
