@blogdiva From the text of the original quote, it sounds like they are using algorithms mainly, with some high-level LLM steering, and then trying to play it off as all/mostly LLMs. It *might* not crash and burn as badly as we would expect. But if not, it won't be because of copilot actually being useful.

It could actually _work_, in the sense of producing code which does the same as the previous code … but that code won't be sustainable or secure or documented.

If your code is just there to turn "abc" into "ABC" then sure, go ahead. But if there's anything other than lowercase ASCII in that input string everything's going to fall apart in the most horrible way.
