After bouncing between several coffee shops, which were tasty but far too loud and crowded for my liking, I FOUND THE LIBRARY! And it's quiet and there are very few people here and there are lovely comfortable spaces to work!!

Libraries are the best!!!

@sundogplanets THANK LIBRARIES!!. I spend my university years studying in libraries; and now (almost 50) I use to go once a while to work with the computer when I want the work done.

@sundogplanets

It's why billionaires hate public libraries.

They educate. They provide quiet spaces to think.

Koch Funding for Campuses Comes With Dangerous Strings Attached

The funding is a blatant effort to steer curricula and hiring to funnel students into careers with conservative groups.

Koch Brothers Gunning for Small Town Library

The Koch Brothers are going after a small town library in Illinois. This is actually happening. Why would a pair of billionaires who largely control Republic politics care about a local small town …

My son started working from the library instead of home and was just telling me how great it is for concentration. Until yesterday that is, when our schools had their first day of winter break and all the work-from-home moms brought their kids in to keep them occupied!

And unlike cafes or restaurants no librarian interrupts after 5 minutes to ask: ‘And, how is the book so far?’

@sundogplanets Libraries are such a win-win-win experience. You always find:
1. people interested in knowledge!
2. knowledge!
3. silence!
