My 2017 HP laptop just died. Crashing with lots of error messages. Either won't boot, or won't stay running.
Current OSes are Aeon Desktop on the NVMe and Bluefin on the SATA SSD.
The laptop had a very good run. Nearly nine years is more than you expect.
This leaves me with the 2011 iMac running Debian 13 and a Raspberry Pi 4B with Raspberry Pi OS (the Trixie version).
I'm not anxious to buy anything at the moment, so we see how I get along.

@passthejoe @thesaigoneer thermal issues maybe? I know a lot of those thin laptops tend to be a little....under-designed for their thermal load and over time just start baking themselves, especially with years of dust buildup internally and cheap thermal paste. Might just need a good strip down, dusting, and re-application.
