Oh dear! "Apple" are apparently unable to process my iCloud account subscription. I wonder if that's because:

(A) I don't have an iCloud subscription.
(B) I don't own, or use, Apple kit.
(C) It's not really Apple, but a scamming scumbag trying to get my credit card details?

They can take a long walk off a short peir.

Oh, you lucky thing!
I don't have an iCloud subscription, but I do have an Apple account. That's because when I succumbed to the hype and bought an iPhone 3G, I then had to install iTunes and associated bloatware on my (Windows) PC, just to do phone software updates.
And the phone was a massive downgrade in terms of phone functionality from the Nokia it replaced.
None of which has anything to do with your scammers, I'm just taking the opportunity to moan about USian techbro parasites.
I do wonder though if somehow we could get scammers to take a long walk of a short Kier instead?

@Fragarach Aye, the last time used Apple kit was in college, now a Uni, back in 1982 where we had an Apple ][e to play with in one of the rooms. Apple BASIC.

I never understood why Apple fans seemed to love being locked in and pretty much unable to do nothing with *their own* devices without Apple's "permission".

Google, for Android, isn't much better of course, but at least I have some control.

It's still a reason for me not to have one. Having the company that I bought something off having a veto on what I install on it? I understand that many apps out there are risky, and a lot of dodgy apps find their way onto the Google store, but still my choice.
