my evolve idle build queue now has 16 slots so i can just queue up builds for the entire hour and actually that made the game more boring cause now i actually have to play an idle game by idling and oding other stuff

but no! in the progress tab you can collect RNA and create DNA
this is essentially like an introduction where you select what kind of species you want to lead (plant, fungus or an animal, of which there are most of, and then carnivore, herbivore, etc.)
the game does not advance at all if you have the tab closed. but if you return after a while of not playing you get up to 8 hours of double speed

@tlapka oh I set it to desktop mode and new stuff appeared
(The "Progress" thing is just message log, it has nothing)
@bunni guess it's broken on mobile 😐 but yeah on the left is your resource list, middle is the main menu where you buy buildings and do research

also I picked fanaticism over anthropology for the first time ever and I don't even believe fanaticism is better suited for long term games it's just sucked so badly so far I think I will anthropology every time unless the minor trait to get from the precursor race is something super broken

@hannah idle game mechanics... theyre silly...
the knowledge cap from libraries is sorely missing in fanaticism, idk. the knowledge gain is worse but that doesn't even matter because of the low cap. extra trade routes are nice in the later game but like. ow. also I can't unassign my professors when I don't need my knowledge (which is often due to the low cap) because they're now a 100% production boost.
