#Trump says he spoke to Vladimir #Putin just hours ahead of meeting with #Ukraine leader Volodymyr #Zelensky.

“I just had a good & very productive telephone call with President Putin of Russia prior to my meeting, at 1:00 P.M. today, with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump said the Zelensky meeting would occur at Mar-a-Lago’s main dining room, with reporters watching [just in case you thought it wasn’t just for show].

@Nonilex while Trump is a horrid person and a worse president... Isn't this to be expected? If you are trying to negotiate a deal between two groups, shouldn't you talk to both sides?

Wouldn't it be equally bs if he tried to negotiate a deal by only talking to one side?

I don't think he should be involved at all but who ever runs a negotiation should be in contact with both sides otherwise it's not a negotiation... Its one side trying to convince the third party to side with them

Trump also confirmed he planned to speak again today with Putin following the conclusion of his talks with #Zelensky.
