Odd question for folks... Would ANYONE be interested in a podcast "show" where I talk with a developer while attempting to install their software? The dev gets to spread awareness of their app, they get to see me being an idiot and attempt to idiot proof their software, and we all learn about new projects, new technologies out there.

@firesidefedi it would be interesting for all of us to hear from someone recently trying common lisp, and your experiences and insights doing so would be very welcome on either the Sunday-morning-in-Europe or Tuesday-evening-in-the-Americas shows.
Distributing software in modern lisp is a bit of a topic, probably not least because lisp and currently popular software like maxima are older than unix. Though quicklisp is common (similar in some ways to npm or pip), or debian packages etc as well.

It's a good premise with plenty of comedy potential, but I bet we could learn something along the way.

"Moron installs software in front of developer."
(I of course mean "moron" in an endearing sense, i.e. "non-expert")

Love it... Let them see how a real person uses something they think is so easy. I remember a product designer/mentor telling me that he lets his kids play with his design concepts in order to see how easily they can be broken.
@firesidefedi it would be awesome doing that while following their docs in front of them, so they can see someone installing in real time and fill in the bits they gloss over!
