@plinubius gute Fragen. Durch Aufklärung und Mitmenschlichkeit. In dem wir rausgehen und dort mit Menschen sprechen. In dem wir zuhören um zu verstehen. So in der Richtung. Und breite Bündnisse. Da haben gerade Linke oft Probleme. Aber es gibt hoffentlich noch weitere Ideen. Ich bin auf jeden Fall nicht bereit das so schwarz zu sehen wie Voßkuhle.

@firebreathingduck The first thing that needs to happen is that somebody with industry clout says this is a possibility. Enter @pluralistic and his Wired piece.

The second thing is that somebody who knows how to shape the political conversation in the right places hears about it and picks it up. Which is why I cc'd @alexandrageese (who probably saw the piece anyway).

The third thing is that the public clearly backs up their elected politicians. Which is where we can all help.

Not just to respond to the Trump tariffs: if one wanted to get to digital sovereignty, the repeal of anti-circumvention laws is practically required, or the network effects likely will turn out to be insurmountable.

I refused to join Bluesky and Threads because unlike Mastodon, they are operated by for-profit entities.

Bluesky was founded by Jack Dorsey, who co-founded Twitter and advocated for Muskrat to buy it.

Threads is a Meta company.

No. Way. In. Hell. was I signing up.

I've never regretted joining Mastodon in the years since I left Twitter.

I've had more meaningful engagement here than I ever did after spending over 12 years on the bird site.

Stand heute haben mich 14 unterschiedliche Männer zu meinem Projekt https://barrieren-gutachten.de kontaktiert und vorgeschlagen, mit sogenannter „KI“ noch mehr selbst zu testen und dass sie gerne dabei unterstützen wollen, dass die Ergebnisse dann alle stimmen. Es würde mir auch die Geschäftsidee fehlen und ich solle doch Unternehmen zur Kasse bitten, um KI-generierte Prüfberichte mit negativer Bewertung aus der Öffentlichkeit zu entfernen.

Ja what the fuck, so hab ich auch geguckt.
