Während des Fotoshootings der Pflanzen, die meine Eltern gepflanzt haben, habe ich mich an diese Pflanze erinnert. Sie heißt Jesus Dorn, weil man glaubt, dass Jesus Dornenkrone daraus gemacht wurde. Ich weiß nicht, wie historisch korrekt diese Behauptung ist. Allerdings bezeichnen wir sie (zumindest in meiner Stadt) als die Pflanze des Stadtplatzes, weil sie dort häufig zur Dekoration verwendet wird.
Insgesamt wie etwas mit historischer und reliöser Bedeutung heutzutage einfach so bennant wird!
