Today is starting out well :)
Blocking this more aggressively than I normally would. It's a bit too small and the bottom ribbing draws in. I hope to repair some of that.

Can anyone remind me what bind-off this is? I used it on this sweater not that long ago, but I tried out several, and now I can't remember which one I used. 14 second video showing both sides of the bind-off. #knitting
In brighter news, today is New Yarn Day! 🧶
Believe it or not I didn't set out to look like a Drops fangirl, these just happened to be what caught my eye for planned projects.
Drops Nepal in Dark Ivy, for a jumper because apparently I don't have enough green jumpers.
Drops Nord in Navy Blue for a poncho shawl thing (but alas not the awesome dragony one from the other day).
And Drops Fiesta in Ink Spots, for a top that I'm weirdly excited about even though this isn't the sort of colourway I normally pick AT ALL 🤷♀️

I can’t wear my rainbow crocs in the winter so I’m making up for it with hats. So. Many. Hats. #Knitting
So let's show the back too. To spice the basic sweater up and have a more entertaining knit I included a pattern from my Japanese stitch dictionary.

Norwegian Protest Hat - banned by the Nazis in Norway during WWII. Today the knitted and crochet pattern is being called the "Melt the Ice" and is being used as a fund raiser to by food for those that are unable to leave their homes for work or shopping.
This is my crochet version! I used 2 balls of Estelle Superwash Merino and 4.5 and 5 mm hooks, in cranberry.
More socks (I hope my daughter likes them because they are for her)
The pattern I'm basing this on is called "Fairy Maiden", but i think it looks like little stacked owls 🦉 (I'm mostly just taking the pattern stitch, the rest is how I construct socks all the time).
I'm getting on with my planning what large project to tackle next, but not yet there, so I'm keeping myself occupied with small ones.
State portraits of the Porty hat. I won’t be blocking this one because it’s already in use 😉 it will get its bath at the end of winter with the other hats. My stitches are pretty uneven pre-blocking but @Dehuisgenoot is very tall so nobody will see.
Please all applaud @lisettedeboer for her handspun, hand dyed yarn of beautifulness that makes this very basic hat pattern so very pretty!
Beep Boop: Alien hates doing #selfPromo so made a bot to do it instead!
I have tons of stuff available in my Ko-fi shop, including #knitting patterns, #crossStitch patterns and more!

Porty Hat made from @lisettedeboer’s handspun is done! Seems like Archibald doesn’t want it so it will go in the household hat collection.
