Loops is working on comment controls (beyond just disabling comments) that will be compatible with Pixelfed and other projects who implement it!
We've preliminary found that TikTok is in breach of the DSA for its addictive design.
There are important indicators of compulsive use of the app that TikTok has disregarded in its risk assessment.
Key features of the addictive design:
🔹Infinite scroll
🔹Autoplay
🔹Push notifications
🔹Highly personalised recommender system
We consider that TikTok needs to change the basic design of its service.
TikTok can now exercise its right to examine and reply to the finding.

i can see the challenge of having 1 button to share to myriad instances of mastodon
i just like the idea of blue supporting blue - people, businesses, countries. the fascists support each other. we need to.
tho i don't even watch tiktok, i wanted to contribute to creating content for & spreading word of #loops
been getting tips on compressing files so i can post stuff that's currently too large
oh, this is interesting. #Loops only handles up to 40mb. i was informed it could take up to 80, & it will compress it. but when i uploaded a 78mb file, then this 42mb file, they both failed as too big. but it looks like this uploaded to #Mastodon just fine💙
