CYBERIA (EP) is a collection of unfinished tracks that felt too vital to be left gathering dust on a hard drive. The Tracks were made between 2018 and 2025. They are heavily shaped by the cyberpunk animes I grew up with. Ghost in the Shell, Akira and Serial Experiments Lain, for example. I have been immersed in those worlds since my teens, and their mood has stayed with me ever since.
With CYBERIA, I wanted to capture that feeling.
There is quiet unease. There is beauty in decay. There is a question of where humans end and machines begin.
To achieve the desired atmosphere, each track was initially recorded onto vintage tape before being brought back into the digital realm and carefully reshaped. This analogue detour gave the sound a strange, worn texture... Something more human... and fragile within an otherwise digital space.
