Also, who put you in charge of deciding what boosts are *for*? It flatly contradicts what most people think and do on here, including me.

You are no longer the algorithm, my friends: Boost softly because you boost on my dreams.

Sigh. Alt text is good. But you need get out of that
twitter mode. That's not how it works here. You
need to use hashtags on your posts so everyone
subscribed to that tag sees it. Boosting burdens
your instance w/ storage costs, and is the cause of
instances shutting down. Boosts are just so folks in
other time zones see your own posts, not to give
other people visibility. That's what hashtags are for.
And you need to set auto delete to a couple of
