GOG is now using AI generation for store banners, and it is as sloppy as you would expect. It is a shame to see a company that sells art cut corners by replacing actual artists.

I have configured my default search engine in Chrome to be Google with "-ai" appended to each search to suppress as much slop as possible.
After a browser update, the slop has returned.
My 'custom' default search engine is still there, they've just removed the "-ai" from the string. This seems an oddly specific change.

Tricked! But only for a bit. I was looking for something on Invidious and I saw an interesting-looking video. Watched a bit of it. It was a bit repetitious, but an interesting topic. Saved the video to watch with the family later, started watching another. The voice was really... repetitious. Same concepts covered repeatedly.
I thought to myself, "Is this slop?"
Then I start searching around and, lo and behold, I found this ad for the channel, looking for writers:
Skills desired included Claude, ChatGPT, and Googmini. (Gemini is a protocol. They can't have it.)
