ProTip for all bedside water keepers: a straw. I find it much easier to drink through a straw when I'm half asleep because it requires less effort and you have a lower risk of accidentally drowning yourself trying to tip a glass of water at your face lying down.

Just maybe wear goggles the first time before you get used to it.
