The NY Media is so ready to tear Mamdani down. They can’t wait to see him fail. If he isn’t swallowed whole by the Pizza Rat, then he wins. It’s an impossible job. Anything would be better than nothing. Someone trying to do the right thing will earn a lot of good will.

Seen on 14th Street in Manhattan. I find it sweetly vulnerable and trusting — anyone can kick at the display or smear the chalk or steal the toys, but no one does. Just a message of love to a million strangers, scribbled on the cold sidewalk in the concrete jungle. A reminder that decency survives, and we’ll get through this, somehow.
