Does anyone know a way to find out what hashtags are being used on Mastodon? It seems to me that that would be helpful information! Otherwise I just have to guess which hashtags would be best to reach the right audience.

I'm following a bot that lists trending hashtags for the day, but it's for a specific server that's not even mine. And I don't want to chase the topic(s) of the day; I just want to be able to find the RIGHT hashtags to use for my posts!

1. Like posts if you want to let the author know you liked it
2. Boost if you want to share it with your followers
3. When posting, you can designate it as public (fully searchable), quiet public (visible on your timeline, but not searchable), followers only, or private mention (essentially a DM)
4. Always include alt text with your pics
5. Use #hashtags if you want your post seen by people following the hashtag
6. Follow hashtags yourself to discover new people sharing your interests
