Seems like new people are arriving via #forkiverse. My biggest Mastodon tip is follow everyone. Not just ha ha ha ya follow everyone, no I mean follow everyone you can. With no algorithm you need content for your feeds. You can always cutaway the accounts you don't like after the fact. You have way more safety tools here than on any other platform so follow en masse.

I've been on mastodon a few days and I like it because every time I log on I see something that feels like it has lore that I do not understand even a little bit.
