My one person node is online for 4 days and has since found a few hundred thousand Fediverse contacts, my timeline is full of new and exciting people and thread completion does its job well too.

Are there any good alternative mastodon-clients to mona and tweesecake, which are both screen-reader accessible and work on mac?
I know enafore is a thing, but I don't like that one very much, due to it being browser-based and very limited in its features.

#Fediverse is more of a new-growth forest. Lots of biodiversity, and burgeoning communities living together.
It takes a long long time to grow a forest, compared to a tree. It's OK if politicians take their time understanding #fedi, we'll still thrive together over time.
#Politicians who figure this out sooner than later will have stronger roots and broader community ties for longer.
There are reports of 12,500 dead in Iran.
But the Fediverse has barely a murmur.
Same when Syria fell.
It was never about care for the people of the Middle East.

The more the merrier!
I am hopeful that when we localize our server to BC, we'll be more discoverable organically as a "BC” server. We'll see!
