🕶️ A view of its user interface (v. 3.0.3, dark theme, on my Linux PC, in French) with several tabs open showing different screenshots of Linux games. The active tab is open on a screenshot of the "Gameplay Football" game. I chose this image because it allows me to illustrate the use of the “Motion Blur” filter and because I'm not good enough at drawing to show my work :). Nevertheless, I tested this tool and found it to be both simple and powerful. Excellent. On the top right are the image layers (only one for now) and below that is the history (only one: “Open an image”), both simple and practical. On the left are the drawing tools, and at the bottom are the color palette, image characteristics, and zoom. At the top, in the title bar, are the edit menus and menus. 📚️ Pinta is a lightweight, libre & multi-platform bitmap image editor inspired by Paint.NET, allowing you to draw and manipulate images in a simple but powerful way. It offers the classic drawing tools (freehand drawing, lines, rectangles, ellipses, ...), adjustment and effect tools (35 tools), a complete history (allowing you to go back in time), layer support (to separate and group elements of your image) and a flexible workspace (fixed and/or floating windows).

On the activated tab, the identified/set content is displayed (DOOM Shareware v1.9, Freedoom: Phase 2 v0.12.1, ...). At the bottom of the UI, a "Don't Show This Again" checkbox, and "Quit" and "Play!" buttons. 📚️ Odamex is a libre, multi-platform, single-player / multi-player Doom source port, focusing on online play (up to 255 players in client/server mode, on-the-fly WAD download) and the feel of the original version, while improving it (removing its limitations, new security features, editing and game options). It is compatible with Doom 1 (Ultimate Doom) & 2, Final Doom, Doom Shareware, FreeDoom, and Chex Quest. It supports modern hardware (joysticks, widescreens, Ultra-High Resolution up to 8K, 32-bit rendering & true color, ...), new game modes (Horde, Survival, Last Man Standing, ...) and competition features (warm-up, rounds, player queues, ...).

The emulator menus are displayed at top left. 📚️ Ymir is a libre, multi-platform SEGA Saturn emulator, currently under development. It requires an external BIOS to operate. Its features include game loading in various formats (BIN+CUE, IMG+CCD, MDF+MDS or ISO), automatic detection of IPL ROMs (BIOS), automatic region switching, multiplayer gaming (2), customisable key combinations, state saving, rewind (up to 1 min at 60 FPS), a debugger and gamepad support.

It features compressed savegames management, profile management (save a profile manually or by analysis via a simple drag-and-drop of a game shortcut, specific triggering of a savegame profile by desktop shortcut), automatic backups (with settings for the number of backups to keep, compression level, source size and available space checks), Steam (detection of installed games) and Minecraft support, emulator support (experimental), all without requiring administrative privileges.

The implemented version of Netwalk offers a very sophisticated random network generator, a "Dig" mode prohibiting to rotate the remote pieces of a server connection, a borderless mode and the setting of the size and complexity of the game.
