There is a Call for Feedback by the European Commission for a 'European Open Digital Ecosystem Strategy' For strategic approach to #foss in Europe, and a framework for using open source within the European Commission. You can respond until 3 February. It is useful to respond even if your point has already been submitted by someone else. We’ve upgraded Slackware AArch64 to Linux 6.18 LTS and, after several days of testing, everything has been running smoothly. If you hit any issues, reply to the forum thread on LinuxQuestions.

I’ve also added a substantial amount of new hardware support to make onboarding Slackware on to new hardware models much easier, & merged a large set of changes needed for Chromebook support. Huge thanks to William Burlamachi for his work on that.

Heartbreaking update from #tailwindcss. They had to lay off 75% of their staff yesterday due to #AI driven losses.

I really don't see how the #OpenSource industry survives this. The days of making your source and your docs open to the public is quickly disappearing.
