Sometime before the turn of the century, I received as a birthday present two microphones labeled "IMAGE IM-450 LOW IMPEDANCE UNIDIRECTIONAL JAPAN".
These are great mics, with XLR connectors and on-off switches that can be disabled for stage use. They've been working reliably for decades in spite of frequent and not always careful usage.
I've never seen another one and can't find anything about them on the internet. Am I the only one that's still using these?
