Reminds me of the very first time I wrote some documentation for my dream job as a security analyst in 2002.
I wouldn't stoop to writing it in MS Word, so I wrote it in plain html in vi (on a HP-UX test server, if memory serves me, lol!), imported that html into Word, and then saved it as either a .doc of .pdf.
Pity #markdown wasn't out, yet. XD
