I had a good visit with the pine trees, mountains, yuccas, grape holly, and cactuses this morning. (2/2) 🥾🌲
A view of the distant, snow-covered Rocky Mountains under blue skies and seen through the framing branches of a couple of weathered, gray, dead trees in the foreground, with some pine covered hillsides in the middle distance between the dead trees and the far off mountains.
A mass of Oregon grape holly growing close to the ground alongside a hiking trail, the serrated leaves of the holly in various shades of red and green, with some low angle sunlight slanting across the hillside on which the holly is growing.
A mass of very spiky prickly pear cactuses, their green paddles covered in so many spines that they almost look furry, growing close to the ground alongside a hiking trail, with scattered twigs and leaves and pine needles in and among the spiny cactuses.
A cluster of dried, open, brown seed pods on the tops of stems of a yucca plant, with the green spiky leaves of the yucca in the background along with some dried brown grasses at the edge of a hiking trail.
