There must be a better way to remove cat hair from a washing machine after washing pet blankets, other than running a dark fabrics wash immediately afterwards.
I did put them all though a cold drier for 20 minutes, hoping to get rid of it. But.. no. Some still remains.

Anyone?

There are other brands, but the heavy weight, soft texture devices that you wash & dry with your clothes do help!

FurZapper Review: Does This Pet Hair Remover Work?

Does the FurZapper really remove pet hair in the laundry? We've been putting the pet hair removal tool to the test for three years now.

@elliek

I'd go into a laundromat...it's what I do with my dog blankets...not a perfect cure...and probably not so nice for the next user of the washing machine...

@elliek

Run washing machine cleaner (Afresh or whatever) after washing pet blankets and before doing other laundry. There are pet hair dryer sheets that catch the pet hair too…

@djg
That's a great idea. I'll do the dog blankets next... Then the cleaner cycle.

@elliek we had to buy one of those fabric brushes finally. It’s either that or pretend we are a cat.
As far as I know… also I don’t have a dryer lol.
