I made us a big breakfast, a tradition I decided to continue in memory of my mom. We've put on the playlist of Christmas movies I assembled. There's a good mix of ones suitable for background ambience and ones worth paying more attention.

Our son will join us for dinner. Our current tradition is to order a delivery favorite the night before and bypass anyone having to make any huge effort. This year we ordered from a new family owned pizzeria we adore.
