Did you ever stop to ponder what the world of computing would be like if Apple and Microsoft, and Google hadn’t so dominated the industry? It’s just a fucking tragedy, all the missed opportunities. Humanity let commerce prevail over common sense and everybody lost.

Say what you will about how much you like Apple products, but the closed proprietary nature of them cockblocked everything. They’re hardly the only offender of course of predatory capitalism run wild. They’re just the most popular.
