This picture of #Vancouver is sick

#beautifulbc

Aerial view of downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, where glassy high-rises cluster along the waterfront, reflecting the muted winter light. Cargo ships dot the harbor, hinting at the city's maritime pulse. Beyond the urban grid, the Coast Mountains rise dramatically—snow-draped, jagged, and immense—forming a natural wall that frames the city in stark contrast. The scene captures Vancouver’s dual identity: cosmopolitan density cradled by wild, alpine grandeur.

@alipunk

Now imagine it under 1200 metres of ice, with sea levels 120/130 metres lower.

@alipunk That perspective is really weird. Feels foreshortened.
