@esureL I think it did in some areas. But I'm in Cheshire and it was one degree too warm for snow last night and not very windy.

@treehugger Oh yeah, definitely. Hamburg, for examples, seems heavily affected. But The Weather has ceased in front of Berlin's gates. 😄

@Radgryd @esureL yeah, me too. After 15 years in the UK I've got over my revulsion to snow and can appreciate it. Also, just a bit below 0 feels warmer than just above 0 and rainy.

@Radgryd @esureL that said, I just read about the winds! And 20cm of snow in one storm in Europe! There is snow all winter where I grew up but generally not more than 15cm at a time.
