There is a verified GoFundMe for the family of Keith Porter, a Black man in #LosAngeles murdered by #ICE on New Year's Eve. I saw this first reported by @HeresWhyKevin, Kevin Ortega Rojas, on Ig, who said journalist Phil Lewis had confirmed this was run by Keith's father.
An earlier GoFundMe was taken down after raising about $100k in 24 hours, although I don't know why it was removed. I assume if it was a scam the money was refunded.
