Letter to the rest of the world from an American,
Boycott us. Don't visit. Don't buy our products. Don't invest in us. Don't watch our movies. Don't use our tech. Don't buy our cars. Shun us.
The only thing MAGA cares about is money.

Precisely. Elsewhere today it is reported that Trump's friend, billionaire Ronald Lauder - who suggested to Trump the idea of acquiring Greenland - has been given the contract to develop Ukraine's largest lithium deposit.
None of this should come as a surprise. The US is a commercial empire. Its military interventions - whether wars and invasions, or supported coups - have been about opening up markets for US commercial interests, or protecting existing interests. Trump is different - but in degree, not kind. He doesn't even try to hide the commercial motivation, nor his personal corruption.
The only mystery here is why Europe doesn't seem to see that this implies a simple solution: curtail US commercial expansion and Trump will back down (or the alliance of interests supporting him will splinter, empowering his political opponents). Crazily, Europe's leaders still don't seem to see the need to work with China and the rest of the world, even though China has already demonstrated its power over Trump in this respect.
The US is actually in a really precarious position, because the US economy will collapse if the dollar's reserve currency status unravels. This is the one and only key to US power - reduce the demand for US dollars around the world and the US economy will not be able to absorb those already in circulation - leading to runaway inflation in the US, interest rate hikes, massive dollar debt defaults, banking crisis, etc, etc...
