It’s so much nicer irl. It drives me crazy how much whatever image processing Mastodon uses blows out the color.
On my computer before uploading it looks fine. But uploaded it’s very desaturated. The face is more saturated, IRL.

I just looked again at the original image and it’s actually the same desaturated image. It’s my camera that’s blowing it out. I really need to get a proper camera and some non glare lighting. It’s really hard to get a representative image. It’s frustrating when you work so hard on those colors, they are sometimes my favorite parts, and it just is ruined by the camera which just doesn’t actually capture the image there. It’s annoying.
