Here on Mastodon (and the Fediverse in general), whenever some person's name is trending it's because (in order of probability):
- That person has just died
- Some nasty action related to, or performed by, that person (sometimes mixed with the item above)
- And veeeeery rarely to celebrate the person's birthday or other happy significant event
Every time somebody trends on #[url=https://hub.azkware.net/search?tag=Mastodon]Mastodon[/url], I brace for the worst (see attached), and that's just what I did with #[url=https://hub.azkware.net/search?tag=DollyParton]DollyParton[/url] until I learned it was a greeting for her 80th birthday. Phew!
