Had to wake up early today to do a thing (that didn't materialize, alas) and managed to check out some aurora webcams. Holy cow, we got hammered by a CME last night/this morning. I figured it was all over around sunset here (although Ottawa was overcast, hence the webcams), but the storm surged in the pre-dawn hours. I managed a couple of screen caps from the Abitibi camera - this gives a taste.
