@rl_dane as an old fart, I absolutely refuse to use such awful disservices to know people; instead, I do what I always did: go outside, meet people there.

Uhh, I'm a bit #neurospicy, and I live in suburbia (and in a poisonously individualistic cultural context).
I don't know how to meet people. 馃槩
@rl_dane introvert here, autistic too. I reckon it's harder to make friends irl, but it just happens from time to time.

It hasn't happened much on its own in the past 30 years. 
@rl_dane too many smart phones, I guess. Which is a way to privatize and gatekeep social interactions (even if those were just small talk).
My point is, the unfortunate conclusion I've made after roughly half a century of existence is that nothing happens on its own. It takes coordinated action. And that's what I'm trying to figure out how to do. 馃
