@archivist_Liz probably because 1) it's everywhere in the RDM world, so one gets quickly fed up one way or another 😜 , 2) essentially because they are overlooking so many other dimensions - esp. many #digipres concerns. I know TRUST and CARE principles aim to complete that, but their adoption is way lower.

Attempts at mapping realities to FAIR principles should highlight the gaps in the model, but we generally prefer misaligning things to acknowledging that the model is missing something...

@archivist_Liz @BertrandCaron the only solution is to address the gaps in a way that makes the acronym even more appealing. Think FLAIR or FAIRY or FAIRLY or FAIR-E-NUF or PHAIR. Oh no, I've gone too phar.
