Blonde sandstone 1840s warehouse on the corner of Trongate and King Street in central Glasgow. Designed by J.T. Rochead, it features a sculpted cornucopia on its pediment accompanied by the words The Buchanan Society's Property A.D. 1849. The Buchanan Society was founded in 1725 as '"The Buchanan's Charity, Kept At Glasgow". This makes it the world's oldest society linked to a specific Scottish clan.
