To be honest, there is a little anxiety combined with moving several years of use from one service to another (Google Workspace -> Infomaniak kSuite), when it's been all your companies activities, budgets, fund applications etc...
Every e-mail and every file should have been moved over, and the new system works. But if... you know?
Well, Google Workspace closes soon anyway, so let's just push the button!
@ Morten Mosgaard Oh this reminds me, that Hubzilla just started working with Collabora, thought I'd let you know. Havent tried myself yet, but that connection seems enticing, Fediverse and Nextcloud collaboration tools in conjunction. Also, regarding Infomaniak i hope you don't lock yourself in into another kind of proprietary system. At least in regards to Swiss hosting it shoudl be noted, that it isn't at all clear, if Switzerland will protect data privacy for long, when the surrounding EU goes # chatcontrol and general data surveillance.

My danish webhosting supports Hubzilla, so I have been looking into it. My webhosting is also planning on introducing a hosted NextCloud service, so I’ll be following this closely.
Right now I’m completely satisfied with Infomaniak, great service, a phone number you can call, syncs files on Linux, I can use LibreOffice on my laptop to edit files etc… it’s way more free than before.
And I really like their sustainability focus, no water cooling, reusing heat etc…

Google was VERY quick to close Gmail when I pressed cancel, though I should still be able to download backup through Google Takeout.
I had a spare domain, so I went through everything with the test domain before, so I could see if any problems would arise.
Only small annoyance was that files from Google Drive needed to be manually downloaded, unzipped and uploaded to Infomaniak. With Mail and my Dropbox-account I could just import everything.
