🍄🌎 Deep beneath an #Oregon #forest lies a single organism the size of three Central Parks. The "humongous fungus" (Armillaria ostoyae) is a 2,000-year-old network of underground filaments that actually glows in the dark.

While it looks like a collection of honey #mushrooms on the surface, it's actually one massive predator that’s been slowly moving through the soil for millennia.
