It's a generally overcast day and we're on the pavement directly beside the back of a typical British postbox; an upright red, iron cylinder painted vibrant red and with a broad cap on top. The top of the postbox is home to a postbox topper in the form of a white crochet base on which there are a dozen penguins of various sizes looking our way, and a few mountainous ice-berg shapes adding to the Antarctic feel of the scene.
