Would you have ideas of what kinds of jobs one can have in European institutions with a PhD in science?

@Armavica I would say almost anything. You find scientists as policy advisors in many Commission Directorates, in particular those on agriculture (DG AGRI), technology (DG CNCT), climate policy (DG CLIMA), and health (DG SANTE), but those places and many EU Agencies also need scientists in less political positions if that's your preference. Maybe @Akshay can say more.
Indeed you can do anything. A PhD is not a negative qualification!
The JRC is the only part which hires scientists to do science, though.
For policy work, pass a competition for temporary or permanent post and try to get hired where you like.
You’re only ruled out if the job requires a specific qualification you lack, like Law, Economics or Nuclear Safety
@Armavica If you're interested, I'd apply to the newly opened EPSO call of applications, and once through you're able to check out internal openings in the European Commission.
Note: IMHO the application process at EPSO is excruciating and humiliating, but once you're through you're good.
