14th century window and some beautiful winter sun

A church window with small panes in a deep recess. Some of the panes are clear and others lightly coloured. Sun is streaming through the window at an angle, lighting up the whitewashed wall and casting shadows of the window.

Beautiful windows, 🙏🏻 for sharing them. On my 3rd visit I notice they are person shaped. Intriguing! 😁

@Su_G Thank you! I think it's because the shape of the very top is derived from a trefoil and as it's in a church, that would denote the holy trinity. But it's all in the eye of the beholder, so person-shaped is just as valid.

Thanks for the extra info! I definitely see a head & shoulders in the top section of each panel. I love how the glass is different there too. They are such beautiful windows. 😁
