@tayarndt So, I was trying to ask some information about WordPress. Something simple like "how to export WordPress to markdown without paid services" and it returned me "go to settings -> privacy", something not related at all. And even asking for information such as "you can write stories? With which limits?" It returned me "go to apple store to buy products" so I said WTF and closed the app. Maybe it's because it does not support non-english languages very well yet? Before saying the app is not for me, I want to know if I did something wrong, at first.
@elettrona @tayarndt Hi there, I work with Taylor in building the app, and I’d love to know more about this. Are you using the AI features in another language, or is your device set to English. I tried asking the 1.4 version of the app your prompt and it gave me information related to WordPress. Also, can you tell me what phone you are using? I'm really glad that you are trying the app, and I really want to to make it have a better experience for everyone.

Btw, I write in Italian, system language is Italian - of course not the app, as the app is not translated.
Maybe it doesn't understand foreign languages prompts yet? I'm using the free plan. Not bought the "all access", until I'm sure it's what I need.
How is it in storytelling, if I give it a plot?
@elettrona @tayarndt Are you on an iPhone 15 Pro or higher, or a different phone? There are two AI models in the app. We use Apple’s if it is supported, and it should be able to use several languages, but the other model we use is Google's Gemma 3 on device model. We may need to tell it what language the user is using and it may not know this by default. I will look into this, and we will know more for the 1.5 release, which should be in a week or two.

@elettrona @tayarndt So your phone should support Apple Intelligence which is what we are using for the app. You shouldn't need to download anything in the app. You will just need to have Apple Intelligence and Siri enabled in Settings if they aren't already. You can see the status in the Intelligence app under Settings and then About. I asked the app in English and it gave me Wordpress related information, but I’m not sure about Italian. The AI should auto-detect your language.
